An EMP pulse over a signal station and air defenses

EXPANSION PACK

BLACKOUT

Cut the signal. Time the strike.

Build a Signal Station, launch an EMP, and time a team strike while enemy defenses are offline.

What it adds

  1. Signal Station

Check in at a qualifying site to build one. An active station lets your team assemble EMP missiles at ordinary silos.

  2. EMP missile

A pulse briefly disables nearby enemy Radar Arrays, Command Centers, and SAM Batteries. It deals no damage and never hits players.

  3. Timed outages

Disabled radar stops helping later launch warnings. Disabled command centers lose remote silo control. Disabled batteries cannot engage new missiles. Existing strike alerts and revealed targets remain available.

  4. Automatic recovery

Facilities come back on their own, then gain brief immunity. Repeated EMPs cannot keep an outage going.

Coordinate the attack

Scout the defenses. Drain a battery’s rounds, land an EMP, and time the next strike for the outage. A loaded battery can shoot down the EMP itself.

Defenders can spread backup facilities outside the pulse’s reach. A working personal Command Center keeps remote launches available; local launches still work during an outage.

Choose your war’s rules

When you declare a standard war, switch each pack you own on or off. Everyone in that war plays with the enabled packs, whether or not they own them.

Pack choices stay fixed once you create the war. Field Day does not use DLC. Open DLC info from Account or Team to read about each pack.

Salvo is in closed beta. TestFlight and internal builds include the available packs. The app shows the rules and numbers for your war.
